Thus, make sure you keep the crystals separately to avoid scratching the stones. Another thing that you should always handle with utmost care are pearls and ambers because they are softer and more sensitive to scratches.
Another thing you’ll want to consider when storing your gems are the metals where they are inlaid. Stones and crystals are always harder than gold, silver or platinum. So it is important to have a proper storage where your gems won’t get damaged and or won’t damage other pieces of jewelry..
Gems may mean differently to people but the ways to care for them are the same. Another thing that you should remember is that gems, no matter how hard they are to touch, are still prone to damage. So giving extra care to them is important without compromising its nature.
