Are there any adventurous travellers out there.. people who travel?

to highly unusual places and I don’t mean – Bali, Thailand, China, Australasia, Europe, or some places in South America.. I mean really unusual places like Cambodia, Myannmar, Uganda, Tibet, etc…

I ask because I hardly ever meet people who do go to places like these. Why do people tend to visit more conventional places if this is the case?
BTW By unconventional I do not mean dangerous places necessarily….

Life Story of Milarepa: Tibet’s Poet Saint $15.65 Milarepa was a Buddhist saint and a singer of spiritual poems who lived in Tibet some nine hundred years ago. Milarepa’s story takes place along the high ridges of the Himalayas and is based in large part on true events in his life.
