Young, black Marine visitng OZ again, where should I go and what should I do?
I loved Oz so much that I’m coming back, but this time where should I go? I’m very much a nightlife type of person but I still need some cool things to do during the day! Is Brisbane poppin? How is the GoldCoast/ Surfers area? Is Bondi and Coogee poppin? How is Coolangatta? People I need some tips and advice! Dont be bashful!
It’s great to hear that you enjoyed yourself last time and are coming back for a second round of Australia and it sounds to me like Surfers/Gold Coast would be the place for you this time around. The nightlife is great and you’re close enough to Brisbane to go clubbing there as well for a different kind of atmosphere. During the day though, the Gold Coast is where it’s all happening – it’s a huge tourist area with every imaginable kind of outdoor activity and the beaches and hinterland are magnificent. There’s not really all that much to do in Brisbane during the day, though it’s well worth a day trip – Southbank and a round trip on the CityCat are recommended if you’re into sightseeing and Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary if you’re into our animals (though don’t miss Currumbin Sanctuary on the Gold Coast either).
