Can I put a 16g earring in an 18g hole?
I got my cartilage pierced at Claire’s and I’m pretty sure it’s and 18g. The cartilage earrings that I like are 16g. Will they fit. Here are some pictures of the once I like.

All of these are 16g. Will they fit in the 18g hole?
NO they won’t fit. You will need to get 16g tapers. A 16g is 1.2mm and an 18g is 1mm. Especially because this is a new piercing. Wait 8wks. Then stretch w/ tapers. I’m in the same boat w/ fresh piercing in 14g but want 12g jewelry.
