If ever in doubt about something in World of Warcraft, especially gear, go to Thotbot.com. Just open up the gear search menu, narrow it down until it has your gear shown, click on it, and there are usually a bunch of comments by players. It also gives the full stats on the weapon, and where it can be found, drop-rates, base sell value, etc.
Oh, and as an afterthought, the best items can’t be bought. Go for Tier 4-6 armor. If you’re level 70 and you can gear up a little, you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding a raid.
