Rock Punk Ring
Ideas for a modern/rock wedding?
My Fiance and I both love rock/punk rock music, and our wedding song is by Rise Against, and my engagement ring is a black diamond. I definitely want a beautiful wedding, nothing goth or ugly, I really am very girly in that sense! I’m just trying to figure out ways to incorporate our style and taste into our wedding without being innapropriate or tacky.

Oh cool idea! Girly rock = easy! Pale pale pink and/or reds and black! Still girly but not “Barbie” either (blah!) and the more I looked around the more I noticed a lot of rockers weddings were these colors! Gwen Stephani(sp?) and Avril lavigne for example both did this color scheme and it looks hot!
The colors look really amazing together because (in my opinion) the black tones down the pink and a light pink totally blends! Red and black just screams “Edgy” even though it may be done a lot it’s not done edgy.

You could do pink, white and black. The dress could be white or pale (almost white) pink.

You could have your bridesmaids in a long formal black and pink dress, or a formal bubble skirt tea length black dresses with pale pink sashes around the waist. Or you could do bold red dresses. I don’t think using pink as the main color on their dresses would give off a trendy edgy rocker feel. Having a black dress with pink details instead of a pink dress would make it so much more formal and elegant. Almost “black tie affair”.

Or you could go with Black red and white. Go with an all white dress that still has some detail on it to make it more rocker or edgy. Or a pure white dress with a bit of red, all options would be trendy, romantic, and rocker.

I dont know what it is about those centerpieces. They’re just giant feathers so pretty cheap other than the vase rental but they make one hell of an impact!
