HELP!! Trying to find the perfect engagement ring/wedding set.?
O.K. here’s the deal. I’m not a picky, pitch a fit for a real diamond kinda girl. I wouldn’t mind a fake diamond or a colored gemstone even. But I do mind plated gold, because it always flakes off eventually and I plan on wearing this ring for a long long time. I want white gold, not silver or plated platinum over silver, but everywhere I find that has good quality white gold rings, only sells real diamonds. GRRRR. Any suggestions???
I guess if we were a more traditional couple, then yes he would be looking for the ring, but we aren’t so we are looking for our rings together.
It’s not that I’m ‘against’ diamonds necessarily. I think, honestly, that they’re clear and boring and way to freakin’ expensive for what they are. I know, I’m odd, lol
Keep looking. There have GOT to be places that sell rings to suit your needs.
Perhaps instead of looking for “engagement” rings, try searching for a type of ring called a “right hand ring.” These will typically be quite exquisite, but will also be more to your needs.
