Will left 4 dead lag on my computer?

I run on wireless and right now play counter-strike 1.6, which lag spikes once in a while. Working on getting my computer directly wired.

it wont as long as your game is set to a low config, you have pretty good specs, better than mine and game runs fine on my pc, there are in game settings that you can change that will make a big difference lag-wise and even not change the appearane of the game too much either.
