TrustWarrior: Another in a Long Line of Rogue Security Programs

Heard of TrustWarrior?  While it may sound like a good program that will detect infections and threats in order to keep the security of your PC in good shape, it is actually a rogue security program designed for the purpose of taking your money.  Does it protect your computer from threats?  Absolutely not.  In fact, the application itself is a threat.  Read on to learn more about this scam and how it works.

TrustWarrior is a bogus security tool, designed by malicious people to trick the user into believing that infections and security threats exist on their PC.  Through aggressive and misleading security alert warnings, this program will advise you that you should scan your PC with their tool in order to detect exactly what these threats are, so that they can be removed and security once again restored.  Many of these scams create fake files that are not dangerous, simply so that they can show them as infected files resulting from the fake scan.

These rogue applications have no ability to detect or remove anything at all, and TrustWarrior is no different.  In fact, the program itself is malware that poses a risk to your PC and personal information.  It should be removed once detected to prevent further problems and the possibility of additional malware being installed.  If you do have spy ware installed on your computer, there are several signs that will alert you.

Some of these symptoms include a slow running computer, incessant pop-up ads, browser redirection and a changed home page.  If you PC seems to be unstable or paralyzed at times, it is most likely due to a rogue security program such as this one.  These applications use a large amount of system resources and run constantly in the background, undetected by the user.  Your private information may be accessed, and your PC is often at risk of damage.  Online activities and searches may be tracked as well, and this information sent to third parties.
