Q about wrapping leather bags in tissue?
Is there anything wrong with wrapping leather bags in tissue? I know storing them in plastic will cause the leather to suffocate, which causes the leather to harden, dry and crack. But what about tissue? Will this cause the bag to suffocate and dry out, as well?
I have a small leather bag stored in its dust bag but is wrapped in two layers of tissue. The reason why I did this is because I’m planning on shipping it out to someone this weekend. Thanks so much.
If it’s in its dust bag, then it’s perfectly okay to wrap it in tissue. Especially if it isn’t for a super long period of time. xo Cass
