What is the best way to get a mirror shine on black leather shoes?
I need to learn a good way to get a shine on leather shoes. I have been working at it for awhile, and there is a decent shine developing, but the polish begins to crack and doesn’t look so good.
Why does the polish crack and how do I prevent it?
So far I have just been using water and small amounts of polish and layering it on. I have been told to use Kiwi since it is the best polish… does it really make that much of a difference?
Please share if you have any shoe shining tips!
I think the product does make a difference. I used KIWI for my shoes and I have never seen shoe polish crack. Are you not buffing them properly or what? Try buffing until you get a shine, then let them sit for at least two hours and continue, but dont kill yourself tryiing to shine shoes to a mirror shine.
