Do soft paws or kitty caps work? Do cats actually wear them?

My kitten is 8 weeks old and ouch! Scratches my kids and me. We are takin her to vet today or tomarrow .. gonna get nails clipped while we are there and I ordered some kitty caps online. Just wondering what some other peoples experiences with them have been. Thanks! My first cat lol.

In my opinion, No they don’t. My cat managed to get them off twice and swallow them resulting in a blockage in her intestines and had to have emergency surgery to remove them. My vet opted to de claw her after second blockage.
I really didn’t know they made them small enough for kittens.
I also think they are rather expensive for 20 little pieces of plastic that the cat can get off.
