Why are some women “gothic”?

I mean, what is the appeal, deep down philosophically behind this phenomenon?

the dark clothes, witchery, clove smoking, depression, poetry, ya know… the whole gothic thing.

whats up with that?

a lot of these “new” goths that you see these days are not goths at all. they are a trendy fashion statment called “emo” and it will probably be over in about 2 years, so don’t worry about it, just sit tight and it will pass.

now real gothic women are very attractive interesting women that are nothing like what you described, trust me!

They are truly very intellectual, intelligent women, they do have a soft spot for dark culture, but not all of them like witchery and they most certainly are NOT depressed.
They are very fun and interesting to be around. not just the women, but the men as well.
(a lot of gothic men are hot!)
