Should I buy a ring with real stone in sterling silver or lab-created in 10k gold?
I am shopping for a ruby ring. However my funds are limited. So I would like to know, should I buy a lab-created stone in 10k gold, or a real stone in sterling silver? I am leaning towards the sterling silver option, just dont want to have to deal with it tarnishing. Thanks to anyone who answers.
You can get away with the sterling silver ….Not tarnishing by…..keeping your ring in a closed plastic bag…..making sure No Air gets in…….Because the air is what makes a ring tarnish“
After you take your ring off….Just slip it in a bag…..and you want have to bother cleaning it but every once in a while“
Do not use any tarnish cleaner on real sterling silver…..it only harms it in the long run~
Any time you wish to clean True sterling silver……use a dry soft clean cotton rag….you can purchase one for $5.00~
Rub the ring and you will see the black tarnish coming off….it only takes a minute
Make sure your Ring is stamped with the words Sterling Silver….If a ring is stamped with .925 This is not true Sterling…..but actually sterling mixed with other metals ~
