y not…muslim women can do adornments but only infront of their mahrams means their relatives example husband, father, brother, son..whom she cannot marry and infront of other women. the hadees u read is actually that muslim women should not show off their adornment infront of non-mahram because evil is spread because of that. if a muslim women walks on street making noises of her adornments then the people on street get attracted and that leads to evil. islam prevent all types of evil and keeps women safe. so dear a muslim women can wear glass, gold and any bangle she wants to adorn herself.
