Is an orange beret too much?

Im going for that sort of indie look, with a black loose jacket tied in with a belt, a pale yellow tank top, and brown leather boots.
I have an orange beret to go with it, but i dont know if its too much?
Im kinda olive skinned.
The other option is to wear a baby pink head band, or nothing at all.
Also- should i leave my hair straight or make it kinky?

It depends, with the indie look, are you looking for sophisticated and classy (A) or moreso, crazy and out for fun typea thing (B)?

A: Wear a peacoat or trenchcoat with the boots, and slim jeans with some boots/heels. No beret.

B: Flare dressy type pants with flats and a big belt, and the shirt with the jacket, and the beret – maybe.

It all depends on your body figure, how tall you are, how long your hair is, stuff like that.

If your short, go with boots that go higher, the taller you are you should go with flats, but depending on your body shape.

If your very slim, go with flats / boots

If your not so slim like the rest of us , id go with boots …
