Last Stop Oblivion
Come on now you people, move along the bus.
Shuffle up the top there, sir, please adjust your truss!
You’ve all paid for your ticket; it’s surely none return.
There’s no-one can stop it now, not even Age Concern!
You’ve passed the stop for hearing aids, dentures and new hips.
There goes the one for failing sight, rheumatics and thin lips!
You’re moving now along a pace down Third Age Avenue.
There go the silver surfers; they’re getting in a stew!
It’s no good you trying to ring the bell it’s too late to get off.
This bus is set upon a course and it’s not going to stop.
So, next stop oblivion. You’re racing there for sure.
Enjoy your journey on the way.

Very true to the point, a bit awkward and needs tweeking. Especially the last stanza but still honest and truthful.
