Balance bracelets theory?
I’ve noticed all these highly advertised bracelets such as “irenew” seem nothing more than your average scam, but could one theorize that when rubber meets skin it creates a small electro static field that provides extra support for the nervous system? I say this based off of all my readings on nikola tesla and his studies, there are good conductors for electrons associated with EM are metals etc., whereas good conductors for protons associated with ES are rubber etc.
Sorry, it’s a scam. You can theorize, but your theory is implausible. I don’t know what you think you read, but protons are immobile – they’re part of the nuclei of the atoms comprising the material. Your nervous system is sheathed in an insulating layer of myelin – a “small electrostatic field” will have no effect at all on its operation. The positive background charge that results when electrons are stripped from an insulator (as when you rub a balloon on your hair so that it sticks to the ceiling) does produce an electrostatic field, but so does the excess positive or negative charge on a conductor (like the charge that builds up on the body of your auto during a long drive through the desert, then shocks you when you step out and then touch the door handle). Unless the charge is moving, you have no (electro)magnetic field.
Tesla did claim that basking in high-potential high frequency radio waves improved his vitality, but it’s hard to say whether he actually did this for the health benefits – Tesla was an untiring self-promoter who liked the aura of mystery and peril that surrounded his work. Today most people would agree that sunbathing in front of a microwave transmitter is a bad idea, but they aren’t geniuses of Tesla’s stature, are they?
